COVID-19: Isolation Paintings

My last plane trip before the pandemic was to Colorado to reunite with a friend from long ago. Soaking in the Mineral waters at Pagosa Springs, was quite peaceful, picturesque, and a wonder to behold.  As the wet minerals spewed up from the earth, cooled and solidified, a sublime vision of natural hues and textures remained in these rare forms. The mineral mounds in my painting are from memory.  My intent was to evoke the same peacefulness and vision of natural beauty as when I was there soaking in the springs! This painting will be included in my next exhibition.
