I was very happy to hear the announcement that my painting “Awash” won first place at the Buenaventura Open competition of 2016, jurored by Katherine Chang Liu.. The reception and exhibit was held in January at the Buenaventura Art Gallery. Even more excitement followed with the purchase of “Awash” by D.A.Davidson & Co.
